Can the robot handle gluing on parts with different shapes or irregular surfaces?
Absolutely. One of the greatest advantages of automation is the ability to follow complex 3D trajectories with constant speed and tilt. Using vision sensors or probing, the robot compensate for geometric variations, ensuring a centered and uniform bead.
How is dosing precision guaranteed over time?
We use CNC-controlled dosing systems synchronized with the robot’s movement. The amount of glue dispensed is proportional to the travel speed: if the robot slows down for a tight curve, the system industry reduces the flow rate.
