Configuring the flow around your product

Every component presents unique challenges: mass, fragility, surface morphology and placement precision. Our approach avoids “one-size-fits-all” solutions; instead, we develop the entire picking and transfer architecture based strictly on the physical characteristics of your product.

Application excellence in every sector

From handling delicate components in the food industry to high-speed picking in packaging: our handling cells are scalable and configured to offer repeatable quality across any production volume.

FAQ

Can you handle fragile or irregularly shaped products?

Absolutely. By integrating force sensors and customs-developed end-effectors, our robots can handle extremely delicate objects (like electronic components or soft food products) or symmetrical geometries. We use vacuum grippers with specialized suction cups or mechanical hands with soft-touch coating to ensure secure grip without marking the surface.

What happens if parts arrive on the line unsorted or disorganized?

In these cases, we integrate 2D or 3D machine vision systems. The robot doesn’t just execute a fixed move; it “sees” the position and orientation of the part on the conveyor. The robot-guidance software recalculates the trajectory in real-time to perform precise picking, even if items are bulk, overlapping or moving (pick-on-the-fly).

What is the maximum weight your handling systems can manage?

Our solutions cover a wide spectrum: from micro-components of a few gram handles by high-speed Delta or SCARA robots, to heavy load (over 500 kg) moved by high-capacity articulated robots. The choice of kinematics always depends on the ratio between product weight (including the gripper) and the required cycle speed.

Do handling robots require complex maintenance?

No, modern robotics are designed for intensive (24/7) work cycles with minimal intervention. Our systems include predictive maintenance software that monitors motor and gear status, signaling the need for service before a breakdown occurs. Routine operations are usually limited to periodic wiring checks and joint lubrication.

Can we automate handling in very confined spaces?

Yes, compactness is one of our strenghts. We design cells using Collaborative Robots (Cobots) that can work alongside operators without bulky safety fencing (following a risk assessment), or we use ceiling-mounted robots or linear rails to free up floor space and optimize your plant layout.
